American cut glass?

I found this shard of glass on top of the ground at a site where I have found old buttons, porcelain jar lids, old horse tack around 100 years old, arrowheads, pontil glass bottoms of medicine jars and I’m wondering if this could be part of a thick glass candy bowl from one of the greats of old American cut glass makers like Libbey perhaps? It has a star pattern as well as a flower in ovals pattern just along the edges.
