Amelia Search and Recovery and Nassau San Miguel search

I've read on this site that a ship named the San Miguel is thought to almost certainly be in the Nassau Sound. I read a newspaper article from 2013 stating that Amelia Search and Recovery received permission to excavate the sound for the San Miguel. I've found nothing else. So, either a fruitless search or no search at all was conducted. What ever happened? Thanks
