Found these at a thrift store today, bought all of it for $75. 94 pieces that I counted. Appears to have been an 8 piece setting but some glasses are lost/broken. Not sure of the value but figured for 75 dollars it was a good deal. Will try to move these locally if I can. Thinking Ebay would be a hassle for shipping costs etc....

As usual any information is welcomed, and enjoy the pictures (it is some pretty stuff). Don't think some of it has ever been used, only things that have dust on them are the decanter, its tray, and 8 goblets, and the canisters.

One to show the color and pattern.

Nice buys. Thanks for sharing...

I hope you have good luck with it - I avoid this kind of stuff like the plague. IMO it's too Fragile, takes up a lot of room, and is hard to sell.

Tiara Sandwich pattern. Actual glass was made by Indiana Glass Co. for Tiara exclusives which formed in July 1970 as a way to try and capitalize on the "home interior" party craze that was popular back then. It was produced from 1970-1991 http://www.tiaraman.webs.com/Sandwich/Amber/Amber.htm

A word of advice. Break it up into small lots to get the most out of it. The canisters and candlesticks and wine set will get you more than your money back.

I agree with the above advice. As far as selling on eBay I usually break lots like this up unless it has more value as an entire set and this hardly ever happens. I part this stuff off as replacement part lots. This stuff is glass and there are always people looking to replace a piece that was broken. I am sure we all do this, but I will add, that when I break up a set I do it to take advantage of weight and packaging so that the buyer is able to save as much as possible on shipping.

Cheers - Koffee
