It's been a while since I've had a box worth posting. The last few months my weekly box check has only been averaging around 10 to 20 keepers each at most. Only 1 roll had a wheatie showing on the end, both ends actually. All the rest were memorial, so I was expecting average results again. Boy, was I happily wrong. Not all rolls had wheaties in them, but I did have 1 roll that had 9. All the rolls had either none or at least 3 wheaties. Two coins were real surprises, a 1922-D and a 1972-P WDDO-006. Going back to the same bank on Monday to see if the trend can continue. Wanted to post a pic of the 72DD, but my camera isn't picking up the details very well. I'm still having an issue with my digital microscope.

Here's the LONG list :

Wow - you sure had your box of wheaties today - and that '22D is a great find & looks in really nice cond. too

Too bad the '22D has a mint mark - that would be a really incredible find if it didn't.

Congrats on the '72 DDO also.

I like that red wheat in the pile too. I'm always a sucker for red wheats - even if they are just common dates.

you've set the bar for me man! great box i found 4 1919's last box also! most i've ever had was 55 in a box but you more then doubled mine! i'll try and beat you this week!

Nice finds!!! I recall my best box having 52, 4 pennies in one roll, 4 single enders.

Keep up at the pennies, I like searching pennies too. I average 18 wheats per box, and of that 18: 19 post 1940 and 1 pre 1940

Hi HistoryHound; Take A "MUCH" Closer Look --

at that 22-D. It appears to be completely Doubled on the Obverse. It is eother DoubledError. or it is a Die Shifted error. At least it looks that way in that pic ok. Good Luck. Let us know ok.. PEACE:RONB :icon_thumright:
