Amazing 220 years old !!! And the same site a good looking 1807 large cent came out of the ground 20 feet away not dug by me . I am going measure it and weight it it's larger then my other KG III PENNYS IF 36 mm standard penny if 41 mm it's a two pence which is more rare, will be back to confirm the evidence!

That is friggen awesome. I would flip out if I found something like that.

Beautiful condition, congratulations! :occasion14:

Beautiful cartwheel, one of the nicer ones I've seen posted. Congrats

Yeah that coin is nice, I was with him when he found it.. Thanks for letting me join the hunt. and congrats on the king George!! :)

Very pretty, congrats to your buddy.

Whoops, I guess the 1807 was not dug by you, sorry, working on my first cup of joe.

Wait until you get an 1797 Twopence instead of this Penny, twice the weight at 2oz!

PS. It is a very good dug example for a chartwheel.

The bad news is that is VERY unlikely to happen. The good news is a George Washington button is way more likely. :) (True)

Funny thing is, it's not that likely over here either. As you may remember Cru'dad got our first last year (As far as we can remember) on the same day he got the matching Penny!

Congrats on that huge chunk of copper

Yeah they don't turn up often. I dug one here, as did Romeo... know of no others from anyone I am familiar with... and that's a lot of guys over a lot of combined years.

What a nice Hpenny cartwheel Cong. Georges series one of the nicest. Still missing in my list,if i had one :-)
