Counted up the rolls of 40% halves I've completed and they fall right in line with their respective mintages from most common to least common.

1967 - 295,046,978 (14 rolls)
1968-D - 246,951,930 (13 rolls)
1969-D - 129,881,800 (9 rolls)
1966 - 108,984,932 (5 rolls)
1965 - 65,879,366 (3 rolls)

Funny how 40 years after their release this pattern is still intact.

That is interesting....I'm going to check mine to see if the results are similar....

I did that with my wheat pennies early last year and had similar results, except for a couple of pennies that were way way off such as 1946-D, at the time per the mintage percentages, I should have had around 7 1946-D wheat pennies, but I had already found 23.

That has been consistent to this day, always found much higher numbers than are listed for the mintage figures.

On that same note, the 1946 from Philadelphia was almost a mirror opposite, but the percentages generally held for most of the coins until you got back to the early wheats, in which as expected there was some fall off due to age.
