I went out detecting a few days ago and unearthed this amazing gemstone piece of jewlery!! The marking .925 is quite clear which indicated Sterling Silver but the marking next to it saying 750 is a little scratched out which indicated 18K GOLD!! About 40 small diamonds edge the perimeter of the central gemstone which I believe to be green citrine. This officially marks my first big hit with a detector and marks off many bucket list items! image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Congrats on a super nice find! Have you had the stones checked out? You say that you believe that the main/center stone is a green Citrine but it appears yellowish in the pics! If it is in fact green, then there is a good chance it is a Peridot. If so, it is a large one and likely rare and very valuable.

Great that's what its all about love to see that thanks for sharing !!!MY turn next

Wow that's great news! Yeah when doing research I came across the possibility of peridot but ultimately decided on citrine. Either way, I'll find out tomorrow when I take it into a jewlery to get it checked out. I'll keep you updated

What an amazing find. Congrats on a beautiful piece!

Very pretty! Tuning in to see what w are all looking at :)

Ehhh originally I posted that this was just a Sterling earing that had CZ's etc.

BUT...
I enlarged the one picture of the mark.

What you have is a David Yurman piece...
WHICH...
Makes this real.
Nice find.

I will post more upon research.

The original piece was a work of David Yurman. But I never found a piece of his with a big clasp on the back like that one does which leads me to believe that the former owner modified it into an earing. Yurman doesn't make 19mm wide earings but that is a pretty common size for a pendant. Thanks for the find, I hadn't come across that yet!

Very exciting find, I hope it checks out for you
