Here's an odd one I found the other day while nugget shooting. I was scanning in a hole probably 4' deep and hit this. At first looked like a rock but didn't sound like a hot rock so I cleaned it up in the creek. Thought it was maybe amalgam but didn't seem heavy enough. Looks like metal, maybe aluminum. Scratch test shows it's not lead and weighs 27.7g. Any ideas? I'm thinking it's a chunk of aluminum that's been rolled and formed by the river. I wish it was a big chunk of amalgam or platinum!
