Wondering if someone could dowse these pictures for gold deposits?
I have found a few small flakes and have tried finding the source digging several test hole above where I found the flakes.
wondering if I am wasting my time. Is the source a load deposit ? if so how deep?
is it a placer deposit ? again how deep ? is it even in the photos ?
Thanks for your help if you choose to dowse it .

There seems to be an exposed gold vein in the blue square.....the red seems to be the float from the vein..Art

Thank you aarthrj thats gonna be some bush whacking to get there and hopefully no snow yet. I zoomed in to the blue square if you wanna try to narrow it down if not no worries. I need the exercise . ;)

Again thanks

This vein seems to come out of a big rock out cropping...If that is a road or a bare ridge I see it may be easy..Art

Thanks aarthrj it might b a old logging road is closed to vehicles now a 3 mile trek to follow road or 3/4 mile being a mt goat . i will b checking it out for sure though.

Here is another location if you wouldnt mind seeing if there is any gold.

Thank you Art for your time . I will be sure to update if i find that vein.

Art took a hike to what you mark on the photo.
Playing mountain goat wasn't to bad wasn't as bad as i figured it would be.
Did not find any rock outcrops :-( Went a few 100 feet in all directions.
After looking I pulled out my dowsing rods ( still a greenhorn with them)
And walked the road you see in the pictures got a couple strong hits but unable to pinpoint ( yes more practice needed) .
I included took a 360 picture view from the road if you or anyone else wants to dowse them for gold.
Again thanks for your time.

Thats Art ill update you after I go up there again depending on the weather .

diggerdoodah, search gold nuggets in next areas, use a metal detector:
View attachment 909888
* Red color indicate zones with more possibilities
* Violet color indicate zones with gold nuggets

To get GPS coordinates with google-earth:
* go to the area
* make zoom until get ~"same image" you publish here
* look details of pictures (shadows,roads,forms,etc.)
* add "poligon" to identify zone
* make zoom to zone
* add "position mark" in center of zone (be sure see sniper scope to get center)
* copy coordinates

Good hunting :icon_thumleft:

On this big rock you should clean the moss off it and keep the moss...wash in a large pan..there may be gold in it...check carefully for the gold vein....Art

Thanks Art gonna be awhile before i get back there weather isnt being nice here.

Hello diggerdoodah,
Dowsing revealed an attraction to gold in the areas of the white circles. Bold circled areas were strong attractions and thin circled areas a weaker attraction. Also an attraction to silver coins in the areas of the blue circles.
Thanks for posting your picture.
