Today is December 17. I have been super busy at my real job. I have some garage/estate sale items that I am pretty sure, based upon comparison sales on febay, would really go top dollar with lots of bidders. But, have I missed the Christmas season? Should I just hold on to them for later? What is your experience with Christmas sales, and maybe sales just after Christmas? None of my potential listings are Christmas related stuff, per se.

Selling after Christmas is good too. People spend more time shopping online during the cold winter months.

Yeah, i'm wondering the same thing. I didn't get as much listed this year as I would have liked but I did okay. I have been listing items with a BIN price this past week so that they may sell quickly before Christmas. I think it's crunch time at the moment. One or two days left before the sales start to slow tremendously. After Christmas is okay because you have a lot of people with received Christmas cash to spend, besides those who are trapped in their cold freezing/ snowed in climates :laughing7: and have nothing else to do but shop online all winter. I did sell 3 more items today so far and several yesterday too.

I know this is off topic, but that is one hilarious avatar you got there, Mr, mjlalt.

You have to consider that during Christmas there is rush to buy items and get them in time. AFTER Christmas there is no rush. You should wait until the weekend or week after Christmas and give it a shot. These days a big gift to give, especially to men is a pre paid Visa card, which works on Ebay. Many shoppers will still be out there after Christmas, considering that may be their gift. After that you have tax season, where sales go pretty high again, that is a large stretch of time near the beginning of the year. Plus, there are always deep pockets on ebay, if someone wants something, they will get it.

I dont think you are SOL, you just have to choose a good time after Christmas at this point.
