Hello everyone,
I was out yesterday at a park in pittsburgh Pennsylvania. It was a beautiful day, sunshine, temperature in upper 70's low 80's. I had a few good signals, I was swinging my minelab ctx3030 with a 17inch coil. I was hoping to find some deep targets that other machines just can't hear. I ended up covering a few trails where the soil was very hard packed. First good target was a sterling silver ring 12-44 signal at a depth of 2 inches. Next good target was this token on 12-38 signal at a depth of 4 inches. The token says "good for one package of mints". One of my hunting buddies Dave calls me over to show me that he just dug 1937 Washington quarter. After he moves on to different ground, I recheck his hole and unearth a 1943 mercury dime and a few wheaties. Always remember to recheck your holes before moving on to greener pastures. Later that day my other detecting buddy Eric comes over to show me the 1901 barber dime he just dug. I asked him where did you find that at? He explains he found it on a hillside on the trails. I deliberately go back over his hole to see if he missed anything. Yep he missed a

1935 wheat penny. Always remember to recheck your holes you might be leaving treasures behind for the next guy. Good luck to everyone and may your next target be a heart stopper!!
