This story happened yesterday. I needed some change to buy something. I picked up three dimes out of random. As a habit, I always look at the year (who knows right?).:dontknow: Lady luck smiled upon me that day for I found this beauty!!

I work a retail register once in awhile! Found silver dime's rarely!
I did find a Very nice 1935 buffalo nickel with a full date....Gave it to my mom as that
was the year she was born! The most common silver find I have found in retail change
regularly is the silver war nickel..

That's a great catch. Doesn't matter where you find silver coins just that you found them. Congrats!

I agree. Its still out there in pockets. My friend was at the gas station the other day & received 2 1934 $ 5.00 bills in change.

Nice! But, you may want to edge search first, as I've found modern US silver, dates will be between 1992-present.

Nice save! Don't ya just love it when the treasure comes to you!
Best I've done is a re-discovery of 6 wheat cents and 2 war nickels when I cleaned my corroded change, oh I did get a French Franc as a quarter in change.

I 'm just wait'n for a load of gold bars to come scoot'n in the door....could be a loooooong wait! Lol!
