I have known John Rice Irwin for over 20 years. He is a piece of history himself. My in-laws house is just a half mile away. If you are traveling through Tennessee on I-75 you should stop by the museum for a look. It is only one mile from the exit. Well worth it!

I met SGT York's youngest daughter back in the 80s .It was real cool . She talked a lot about her dad but said he never talked much about the war.

I read about this weapon a couple years ago. It was caught in government "catch 22" regarding automatic weapons and federal law. There was some speculation at the time that it might have to be destoryed. Glad they got it sorted out.
