Found these over the last few weeks...both are aluminum and read the following:

Larger One: "Union Pacific-Lucky Piece-1934" on front and "A sample of the aluminum in the new Union Pacific Train built by Pullman Mfg. Corp.--Aluminum Co. Of America" on reverse. It's half-dollar size.

Smaller quarter-sized reads: "Good For One Glass Soda, 5Cents" on front and "Crystal Lake Park-Picnic-Resort, Gardener, Mass." on reverse.

They are both a great piece of history...if anyone has any info on them it would be much appreciated!
Thanks and HH,
Hank 8)

Hank, those are great tokens, and in super condition! I've found two aluminum tokens about the same sizes as your two, but the soil and fertilizer has ate them up to the point of almost non-readable status.
Congrats on two awesome tokens!

i love that train token!

I've seen the Union Pacific token listed as a giveaway at the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair.Advertisement for Alcoa Aluminum whaich was used on the pullman cars. It's also been called a "lucky piece".It sells for $5-10 on Ebay.Don't know much about the other one.Maybe someone has a token book for Mass..Try listing it on the "Tokens" page.Someone may be able to help you there.

Nice looking tokens....

NICE FINDS!!!!

I found one of those train tokens in Rexburg Idaho years ago ~ but it was shot by a 22 round.

That 5c trade token is great! I've been detecting for about 14 years now ~ I've found five trade tokens ~ all five were found in just the last year!

Great shape for aluminium tokens. Way to go!

Nice finds,I have the same union pacific token, but 1933 I think. WTG
