NEED HELP WITH THIS BELOW.CAN ANYONE CONFIRM WHAT IT IS?
i'm asssuming it's a 1902 drivers liscense or ID tag from Louise N.Wakelee state of Ct.
i may donate this to the historical society since this house is on the historic registry.
It was a crumpled mess and tried to straighten it out the best i could.
has the state seal to the left of the words STATE of CONNECTICUT.
hard to see in pic.
thanks,
dave

I was just trying to narrow down where this Louise Wakelee might show on the census records. For some reason I am not getting a likely candidate on those records but she might just be indexed wrong.

I'll let you know if I find anything...

I think that goes with cremated remains..

Of course, why height would be important on that is beyond me.
the town historian seems to think it may be a casket tag.i was informed there are bodies buried out in back of home and stones were removed at some point. :-\ :dontknow:
she forwarded pics of this tag to a family member.wait and see what happens.
keep ya posted.
