Are these just a medallion that some company printed up? That's kind of what I expected.

Al--there are probably a couple of outfits that make these, primarily to sell in bulk to flea market dealers and some to "tourist trap" souvenir shops and the like. There are dozens, if not hundreds of different examples of these. If they are that size and the lettering is incused, you can bet the farm that they are modern fantasies.
