I live in the Plymouth MA area. Lots of history here.

The cartridge was in a pond and fiddle back spoon near an Indian burial ground.
The cartridge is from the Union Metallic Cartridge Company produced between 1892-1902.
I can only imagine they were duck hunting.
I asked about the hallmark on the spoon. Can’t find the silversmith. Someone suggested was an electro platers mark?

Great finds, my friend. You live in an area where every patch of ground is worth detecting!

Here is a site that will show all the maker's marks in the silver plater's in England.
The site also has other countries as well and the makers there
This will help you ID where, who, and when the spoon was made.

AS stated by pepperj it's not a hallmark on the spoon handle as its not a precious metal. It was once plated & these 'faux' marks were partly done to fool people into thinking the spoons were fancier than they were. (the plating has all gone, which may have been Sheffield plated silver)

Nice finds!! Thanks for sharing!!
