I Hope this is ok for "today's finds". Mods, please move this thread if not.

I 'found' this at an auction in a box with a bunch of 'junk' coins last night--mostly foreign. I eyeballed it early, and bid it to win it, thinking it was just a love token.

I can't find anything on this. Back inscribed: LFU DIV 40 / Indianapolis. I can only assume it's military--right?

That's a unique find. I would think if it were military it would have the state instead of the city. Maybe it's a college related token?

Ya, I am not sure of what it represents, but highly doubt it is military.

I wonder if it could be a token given out at a reunion of some kind ? The div. 40 is suggestive of this , but could also represent-
Local, Firefighters, Union (LFU ?) Whatever it is - it's a great find ! With research I think you can pin it down !
