Alpagora

I found a zipper tag I think, it says "wear tested genuine alpagora" on one side and on the other says "warm but not weighty." It's not in the best shape at all but it's clear enough to read it , did some research but couldn't find a date for it....

ALPAGORA is alpaca and angora which I am sure you noticed lol. My wife bought a blanket from a alpaca farm at a show we had gone to and the statement warm but not weighty was part of the ladies sales pitch. Not sure if that is a keyed slogan from a certain farm or manufacturer or a general trade term. Personaly the blanket is to soft to use it feels like snot in bed and little hairs come off it all the time, yes my alpaca blanket sheds. We had bought this only a couple years ago.
