Aloha from the Big Island Hawaii it's me... Finderzzs

Aloha everyone, just putting my face to the name finderzzs. I love this site and seeing everyones treasures. And while I'm at it, I'm still looking for a Ms. detectorist to join me here in Hawaii Aloha all. Or if anyone's coming here this summer give me a hollar and I'll take ya out, (or put ya up). Oh and this is my toy, a '72 custom Dodge Charger.

Welcome to TNET! Are you on the Kona side or the Hilo side? or the Kamuela/Waimea side? You are so lucky! Was on the Big Island about a year ago for a couple of weeks. I was totally taken back by the difference between the Kona side and the Hilo side. And Kilauea! The beauty of Kilauea was astonishing! Take care! I came home with at least 15 Hawaiian shirts! Wear them all the time.

Aloha, I'm on the Hilo side, south of it in Puna, but have to travel to the Kona side to water hunt. No beaches on this side, except for one extremely hot beach that I haven't been able to hunt, Yet. I live about 8 miles from the Volcano, had over 250 earthquakes yesterday. Guess it may pick up the pace a bit..

The Volcano Winery was also big hit for me. I was thinking there was a black sand beach on the Hilo side. Hey.....I even stayed at UNCLE BILLY'S on the Hilo side! Hmmm....I slept on top of the bed covers! ha/ha ***Those that have ever stayed at UNCLE BILLY'S know what I am talking about. LOL

I think Oprah bought a spread of land on the Kona side.

Yeah that beach is near Uncle Billy's, but it is soooooo mineralized I cannot use the PI Pro there. You can't even set the coil down. I'm working on a different water machine. I've been meaning to make it back to the winery, maybe the thing to do this weekend. I dont MD on weekends, to packed. Mahalo
