Always lurking here. I really am years behind assessing anything made of stone at this point. No pun. Learning a lot thou. Thanks to those in the know. I managed the mid section of a point still yet to find a full. I believe it to be archaic because of the copper piece I found near by. Not sure( newbie). Could be Iroquois or Petun or archaic. At least now have 3 spots to search when time is available that I have found something. Found this nice petrified shell as well. Considering cutting it in half to expose the center..hmm

Stone is the forgotten treasure, Many including myself are walking right past meteorites, Indian and prehistoric finds..wish I could be more observant while out hunting metal...Kinda get single minded while hunting. Dont think I would cut it open unless they are a common find.
 

Not really allot to go on as far as flaking but it does show a bit of late Archaic flaking from what I can see.
