Here's my first silver and gold jewelry finds after 2 months of digging clad, aluminum can pieces, and pull tabs. The scary one is 925 and can double as a paperweight. I almost threw it back in the hole - pulling a horned skull out of the ground gave me a few chills. He's like one of the family now though.

14K Band on the other one, but rock turned out to be CZ. As much as I'd like a second and third opinion on that, I'll just add it to my "cool stuff" stash.

For MXT folks, the 925 paperweight read in the neighborhood of 81 VDI and just about ruptured an ear drum at 1" deep (cheap headphones). 14K Gold Band clocked in at a solid 8 VDI at 2".

Wow,,, Congrats on two great finds, WTG!!!
I have been detecting now for a little over a year and three months, and still haven't found any real gold yet,,,
Great job,,, way to dig it...
Good luck & Happy hunting~

Are you sure that paperweight wasn't stamped 666? You know that's a likeness of Satan don't you? How appropriate around Haloween! Montyi

Very late in the season for us in Alaska. I managed to dig another $2.63 in clad tonight, but 1-3" of snow is forecasted tomorrow night. Guess what I'll be doing all day tomorrow! Will take what I've learned in the past few months and focus on more big silver and gold for the last outing. Wish me luck!
