I went to two old parks about 30 miles from me(I live in the country so all hunts are more than a few blocks down the street) Was shaded for an hour or more found old pocket knife , shell brass and some clad. Got hotter so left for some cooler "pastures" of park number two. Still in the Hot S. Carolina sun with humidity @98%. (Thats why the Army keeps a training Post nearby.) Started swinging and about 30 mins. in to it found some more change. Few more mins. of swinging " Bam" got a loud hit! Pulled out the class ring. The school was not in this state but have e-mail them for help in locating owener. I thought it was stainless steel because the s.s. on the inside along with two letters. Stopped by my local jeweler and he said its sterling silver. It was down between 4&5 inches and from the 80's. I guess when I cool down I'll do a "happy skip"L.O.L. Till next time . Dirt Dobber

Very nice ring . . . Congratulations!

What's with girls throwing rings into water?? There is a guy in Reno, NV who has found over 100 rings in the river under a bridge right by all of the wedding chapels.
