Boy, do I love Saturdays! I love the hunt. I love the finds... My son promises to come with me and Navigate for me tomorrow. When he does, he gets half my profits (his bank account is running a bit low). That's the best part of all... Come on Saturday Morning! Only 45 sales within 20 miles of my house...

I am with you there, only my navigator is my GPS, and "SHE" has an australian accent. She doesn't talk a lot and when she does talk she come right out and tells me what to do. She used to have an "american" accent but there were times she sounded a bit snotty. So I dumped her and got an Aussy.

When I need to go to my next address I have to wake her up (guess she gets tired around me) so I say "wake up girl" I can program her to answer to anything. When i first got her I would say "hey stupid" and she would wake up. BUT, one time my wife was with me and I had to add an address, so I said "hey stupid" and my wife said "What?" needless to say I changed it.

That sounds exactly like detecting, and fun, and sort of makes me wish my buying took me out of the house. I do however look forward to the weekend because usually my ebay watch list is between 100-150 items which I intend to bid on... and my budget is based on the cash I have and auctions ending which allows me to go for anything I figure I can make money on. So it's not the same as getting out, but still a bit of a rush waiting to see how many deals I end up with over the weekend. This weekend though is a bit of a regrouping one, always need a week here and there to to reset and get ready to go strong again. Am interested to see what you come up with.

AWSOME WEEKEND!

Saturday, My son, 12 years old, Could not get out of bed. Even though he needs the money, he didn't come along (too bad for him). Started bright and early hitting the sales. I found a set of James Bond DVD's unopened with a Star Wars Gold set (4,5, and 6) Paid $50, listed them on Amazon for $300, sold the Star Wars for $115. Found an Unopened photograph printer, Paid all of $10 for it, Listed and sold on Amazon for $150. Bought a Homeopathic Shiatsu Massage chair attachment for $10, listed for $115. Bought a New Ray Ban Aviator for $25 (easy $100)... On and on. I spent over $150 this weekend, and I've already sold $250 on Amazon. NICE NICE WEEKEND... Can hardly wait until NEXT Saturday.
