Almost got skunked

Me and a buddy went to a new spot this morning to CW relic hunt. The only place we could get our coils to the ground was the outer edge of a large corn feild where they have chopped the first 8 or 10 rows. The ground was hard as a rock and we found very little. Nothing CW related. We didn't stay long. We then went to a spot close by that we have hunted many times. Stayed about two hours and I found two bullets and my Bud found a Spencer casing. I had to go home and do my choirs, mow and all that stuff that keeps the hot meals coming. I needed to do better so after I was done I decided to hunt my yard. My house is pretty old and there was a house here before mine. I have found some cool stuff here and my short hunt this evening was no exception. Best two finds where an IH ( no date) and a 1924 merc. Good finish to a slow start. Thanks for looking. Tomorrow is another day
