Almost didn't head out, but glad I did!
Well, the ground here is officially frozen. I went out this morning and hit a schoolyard I've had some success in, and after trying to chip through the frozen soil a few times, decided only to go after the surface finds that were on top, but buried beneath the wod chips. I almost didn't bother to go at all, but I'm sure glad I did. Got a few coins, a lot of pulltabs, and a really nice sterling necklace! It was buried in the woodchips, half out of the ground, half in. My ACE250 gave a really weird, broken dime tone, it sounded almost like Morse code: beep-beep-beep beep-beep beep-beep. I searched for a good 15 minutes hoping to find a pendant that my have been on the chain, but I don't think there was one, as the chain is not broken. It's marked ".925 Italy" on both clasps, and is in really good shape. That's my second silver in as many Saturday hunts, and that's pretty good for me. Just goes to show that the season isin't over yet! Thanks for looking and HH!
