Perfect Saturday! Decided to try an finish up the front yard. Didn't do so bad.
First find of the day happened to be the one and only Merc! 1918D. Got me excited early.
Also ended up with a 1963 and a silver ring amidst the multiple clad dimes and pennies dug today.
Now the reason I say "almost a 3 silver day" is because I i rubbed the inside of the ring after pulling it up and first thing I saw was a number "5" so I'm thinking, "ohhhh yeah, silver ring baby!" After getting in and cleaning it up I see it is a single 5.. all by itself. With a "U" and an arrow through it. I looked into it a bit. Didn't find the exact ring, but found it was made by Uncas, a costume jewelry manufacturer.. dang! Eh, its still my first ring, although it won't even fit my pinky.. Another dang! Ohwell, heres some pics of it anywho!
