Hello Everyone.

I'm from Desoto County, MS (directly south of Memphis, TN).

Background:
I bought my first metal detector, a Nokta Makro Simplex in 2021. I swung it for a few months before storing it away for the last few years. I recently pulled the Simplex back out to do some long overdue hunting. I have since bought a Nox 800 to become more serious about detecting. I don't have any friends who are detectorists so I usually hunt alone or with one of my daughters. I'm here to research, share, meet, and learn from like minded folks.

I also enjoy hunting for Native American artifacts as well as magnet fishing.

Welcome from North Carolina. You will never find a better hunting partner than your family. Time in the outdoors together and learning/teaching and sharing history. Doesn't get much better than that.

Thanks for the welcome. You are absolutely right about that.
