Yep. It's in nice shape.

And it's worth whatever anyone will give.

Nice find.

Hard to say from a picture but that's a nice find. The problem is that it has been dug so even though it has better than G detail if it was sent in to get graded it would say some thing like G detail (Corroded) or damaged. But again great find

Dig until your arm falls off

There have been some generic value statements so far and they're right. There are so many variables with this coin that will affect value - wear, surfaces, variety, porosity, verdigris, etc. it also depends on who's looking at the coin when it comes time to sell. Best bet is to check eBay and auction ended listings once you know the variety. Look for coins that look similar. That being said its a beautiful coin!

1652 cut Shilling help

599347_126939164158454_947587235_n.jpgget-attachment.aspxcutcoin.jpg Great looking coin! I use a Minelab SE Pro. Found this a couple of years ago and had with my other "Reales" and recently noticed it was a little different. I now realize it is a 1652 Shilling of some sort, but is it an Oak, Pine, or Willow? Should I get graded/authenticated? Thanks for the threads folks.

Banner find! Would be nice to hear from some of the more knowledgeable members what they think. Pix still kindof blurry, not hard to see that capped bust. You have found some great spots and great finds. I would love to see more of them on the site.

I think your cut Mass silver is a Noe 14 Oak Tree Shilling. Could be the 13.6 or 13.9, but it's unlikely as they are both very rare. Great finds all around!
