All this rain is killing me!

So i asked for today off work two weeks ago kept my schedule clear researched on historic aerials, found a bunch of old houses around here that are now just fields, found the land owners got permission to detect and am supposed to be having an all day mding marathon today! instead I'm sitting inside waiting for the rain to stop wich i have been waiting since 6 this morning! arg oh well its all good at least i've gotten to catch up on my beer drinking and my wifes making homemade doughnuts as we speak so i might be able to salvage this day yet!

So how were the doughnuts? Did you finally get out?

The doughnuts were delicious! Got out for a little bit today but not for as long as i would like time seems to be at a premium these days. any way got to one of the old home sites and found a bunch of old pottery shards, a half burnt comb, an axe head and what i think is some of the remains of an oil lamp. Gonna go back and hit it some more when i get the time.

Been raining quiet a bit here in southern nh. Today I couldnt stand it anymore. I grabbed the saran wrap and and cocooned my machine, off I went. No major scores but did find a 1955 3mils coin from cyprus. Weird coin to be on a class 4 road in new england. You just never know what you'll dig up.
