Would have never have thought of finding a lead toy battleship in the middle of a cow pasture, but that is the wonder of this hobby. These goodies are from a 1890's farm site that I have been hitting hard for three years now, proving that no site is ever "hunted out." Also in the treasure bag today are an 1899 Indian Head penny, a Diamond brand overalls button, a big brass bridle rosette, a cinch buckle, iron gear part, harmonica bits, a tiny brass ring, a brass paint brush (?) collar, a copper spoon, and some sort of out-of-round brass disc. Thanks for looking and "Remember the Maine!" Update: Research indicates the battleship is a Tootisietoy #1034, pre WW2. Sub 8-)
