The lead piece is 4 inches wide by 8 inches long with 3 holes in it.

The shotgun shell is a winchester repeating arms 12 ga. rival which was produced from 1866-1932

The coin is a greek 1992 / 100 drachmes made of brass worth anywhere from .25cents to $2.00

The longer shell is yet to be identified, I cant seem to clean it enough.
1/2 inch wide or 50mm
and approximately 2.78 inches long.
I`m thinking a sharps straight made shortly after the civil war for buffalo and or man hunting.

Can`t wait to go back

Amazing the time span on finds one makes in an area, huh?

I found one of those long shells you are researching. Someone told me that you could get a round-about date on it by looking for the crimp that is going around near the bottom of the shell. I think it was Daniel in AK...might want to send him a pm....he may know.

Congrats on your finds! Nana :)

Congrats on those finds. Never know what you will find. I wonder what the story is on that coin being there?

Ok Hardy i found gold but it`s not that big :)

Updated finds, Pullen park, Raleigh, NC.

Still trying to find the location of a building that was located on the east side of NC STATE, theres also a hint of a road that dead ends at the creek.

For our Local treasure hunters it`s right behind the armory.
Iv`e found maps of the area dating back to 1910 but they only show a building and not the road.

From the slag on the property, something may have burnt down, but there only stands a bathroom with a ball field just uphill from it.

Has anyone seen a bird pendant like the one in the lower right corner.

I`ll be scouring this area many more times, hopefully with a new Garret Ace 250 when i can afford it.

Pendant looks like a Inca or person with wings. Wearing a dress??

I can definitely see a head at the top, maybe a representation of a God (Asian??)

cool digs,

The bullet/ with no crimp mark, spoon and pennies were todays finds.

The casing was my second Springfield trapdoor find from this spot.
The lead ingot looks like it was used to solder lead plumbing pipes.
The soon looks old to:)
