I have gotten pretty good at panning material over the winter. I can get the materials down to black sand and super fines, but I'm not good enough yet to separate the super fines from that dreaded black sand...lol.
I need help with these teeny weeny pebbles. They are all different yet they all refused to let go of the other really fine heavies? I actually had to work at it, just to get them separated in the pan (a couple of them I just picked out). I put a rare earth magnet to them, and the ones in the pic's aren't magnetic. 2 pebbles (not in pictures) were picked up by the magnet, and the third JUMPED to the magnet?? I laid them out around a Canadian dime, but could only get about 3 good pictures.
I hope you can now see why I'm so curious, magnetic, semi-magnetic, non-magnetic, all act the same, but yet look so different.
Thanks for taking a look at them, newbie appreciates it!
