For some reason I don't have the marked solved in thread tools. I read some about the software being used on treasurenet and they said to down load everything twice to make sure everything gets loaded. Thats probably why everyone is haveing problems on here.

this is real similer to what I found ,looks like a corpra badge British military, the round boss surrounded by wreath and flowers ,6 of them like my badge ,take a look,this is too ornate to be a bridle rossette.This badge was wore on a type of beret with badge off to the side, I've seen a picture showing this,unlike a shako badge in the center of the hat.this is a rare badge!!!!!!!!research your'e local history of any British military in your'e area,we know they travelled all through out the great lakes area to protect forts and the crowns interest.

Interesting .. can you site your source? The UK Data base doesn't show what you describe, but does show many Harness mounts that very closely match the one posted here.
