I was watching Nat. Geo on tv Alaska State troopers tonight and they were useing a Garrett detector....... I would guess by looking at it it was a.. Garrett CSI ground search Ace 250 detector..

Those prop guys on the show don't have much money to spend on higher end detectors as the general public doesn't know about them anyway.
