Anyone with hearing aids have any experience with these heaphones?

Read a article in Lost Treasure June 2011 issue this month put out by Andy Sabisch. The article speaks pretty highly of these headphones and their ability to hear small deep targets and also their ability to bring out different tones better then the standard headphones we all know and use. One thing that really caught my attention was a statement that he made that unlike other headphones they did not cause feedback (a very high pitched whine) from hearing aids which is a really big problem for me since I wear a hearing aid in both ears and have spent a small fortune looking for a solution to that problem.

I called the phone number listed in the article, but they would only say they were not hearing specialists and could not guarantee them to be a solution.

Well I'm sure they are really good headphones or Andy wouldn't do a write up on them, but they are also very expensive headphones, to expensive to be looking at as a solution to a very real problem no one there will guarantee. Once you buy them you own them , I know only to well.

Check them out at www.AirHeadzwireless.com or read the article in Lost Treasure June 2011 issue. I'm sure for people who do not live with my problem they are great headphones.

"Celebrities" get paid a fortune to sponser their names to Nike....but Nike products are VERY cheaply made. Be wary. You could try sending Andy a mail. I've seen him post on this forum before so you may find him here.

I have the AIRHEADZ wireless headphones, and they are great. Have had them for a couple years. Yes, they are expensive, but it's sure nice not to be contending with a cord.

My wariness has nothing to do with Andy. He is only telling what is being told him.

Having already purchased 4 different sets of headphones looking for a solution and no one will take them back when they don't help my problem makes me cautious, then calling the distributor for these and they won't back up what is being said automatically sets up a caution sign.

Like most of you out there I am anything but a person of means, and only have so much money to spend on this hobby. That's why I am asking if anyone on the forum has used these with a hearing aid, and did it help them. Rick :coffee2:

Wow these are costly ! What frequency range do they work in , I could not find that on the page.
And do you know the range your hearing aids work at ? What we have to find is if they can build a harmonic balance between the two . I do not know why they would not help you with this .

The other thing that is hard to tell is if you will get echo feedback with the cups on ! But you may be able to tune that out.
My Granddaughter is deaf and wears hearing aids and we have had to work with her to fix a few issues like this. She also has one of the implants in the brain that enables her to hear.

I will call my daughter and ask her what they did or see if she has any advice on this that I could pass on to you . Can't promise anything but who knows it does not hurt to ask and see .

Well guys I guess I was a little to quick to judge these people at Airheadz Wireless Systems.

I spoke with Stacey at Midas Touch the distributor for these headphones and she was kind enough to go way out of her way to put me in contact with a gentleman in my area that has purchased a pair of these head phones. He had nothing but praise for this system and was more then willing to meet up with me to let me try these headphones on to see if they are the answer to my problem.

People with sever hearing loss sometimes require special hearing equipment to find a answer to their problems the hearing devices create. Unfortunately we can not always purchase what the average person finds to work great for them and get the same results. I am fortunate to find someone who is willing to work with me so I can try them out before I make the purchase.

My thanks to Stacey and the gentleman she put me in contact with. They both went that extra mile. Rick :coffee2:
