the other thing looks like a guide for cutting circles or something.
We have a gasket maker at work and it has a piece similar to that on it....

Middle piece with the thumbscrew is a edge scribe or transfer scribe (looks like a "rustic" manufactured version). Set the triangular blade to scratch a line a set distance in for ripsawing by hand. Also used to mark a contour when fitting board moldings or floorboards (set the board almost in place, scribe the line on the board by tunning the tool along the edge to be cut flush to, saw along the line, board then fits flush when fastened in place).
