I had trouble sleeping last night. I kept having all those dreams of sugar plum fairies getting in my way.
A new place to hunt, virgin, old enough, all mine!!! LOL

Then, I got there, went for 2 hours and was soooo tired, I had to leave. (HOT! 2 days in a row!! )

I was envisioning Roosies, Mercs, SLQ's etc etc! Just lining up to jump in my pouch.

Reality:









At least got a fair chunk for the battery fund.

Maybe next time.

(See?!? Not every time works for me either! LOL )

Oh yeah, and I found an old key but I left it for the owner. Figuring I'd keep the karma going.

Found some wheat's so a silver may be hiding somewhere..you at least cleared out the clad and junk to help ya find them.
Check the sides of front/rear steps working any foot traffic areas or around the edges of any porch..around the base of hand dug wells,..where old out house may have been..etc

If nothing comes up there, you may have to just abandon the yard and start checking inside like the basement..behind old art, mason jars in the attic's

Sometimes the best looking places don't pan out and then there are the ones that you drive by all the time and finally try and hit paydirt. There is some luck involved in this hobby. HH

Oh, I didn't really expect the pot o gold to just be sitting there for me.
I just did a very short, high level scan of the site. It shows some promise. Funny I didn't see much in the way of age indicators though. Would have expected a few.

I'll just have to develop the site and see.

Yeah i hate when i think a spots gonna be a gold mine and it ends up being not so hot. Still made some nice finds for 2 hrs though! maybe head back when its a bit cooler and hit it again at a different angle??

What are the dates on your wheats?

They were what I call "minimal" wheats. Just a 1909 -s.


Naw, actually, 56 & 48.

The theory is that if there's wheats there's silver. The part people forget is that while that may be true, nowadays, it usually means there "used" to be silver. LOL
