Found this marble bonus in The hole!! With the metal object. Found not to far away from a house built in 1850. Found it not to far away from volley ball net that is used today. Reproduction? How was it lost? What material is it? Would someone clue me in on the difference between a repo marble and the real meal deal. I don't want to be ripped off if I unknowingly dig a repo at 4 1/2" deep.[emoji22]

Some "marbles" aren't actually made of marble and are just cheap glass knock-offs. Be vigiliant!

Absolutely. Post anything you want. Kudos for your enthusiasm. Don't take anything said here personally. Just be prepared for honest feedback when you post junk and ask questions that can't be answered. And expect some (polite) pushback when you get snarky about that feedback.
