Age on this belt buckle?

I don't know if there's a way to figure out the age on belt buckles but I figured I'd give it a shot. Measures 1.44 inch x 1.21 inch. It was found in the same area as a 1918 penny and a 1760-1790 button. Thanks!

These are hard to date. Most of the ones I find are mid 19th century. I believe most of this type was used on horse equipment. Any buckle day is a good day!
