I found this pocket watch case yesterday and posted it in todays finds along with my Token.
After cleaning the case up a bit, i found a patent date and serial number engraved inside.
I know this case does not hold a lot of value but i am just curious on its age.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any and all your input!

The case looks to be a size 18 from about 1890. Fahys made three grades of cases, 14k gold and silver alloy and bras, silver plate. It's worth about $10 if it is silver.
