Age of this hammer and buckle

Just curious if anybody could tell the age of this hammer buy it shape. Pulled this out of an old tunnel that was a worked from the mid-1800s to about 1910 at the latest. But I'm not sure it's quite that old. And this buckle I'm just curious does it look like you came off some kind a pack .it doesn't look like it is From suspenders thanks

My guess would be that the hammer dates from around 1900, but no expert.
