Age of hinge?

Dug this with all the other stuff at the 1800's foundation. Because of the fire it's hard to tell the age from the depth. I was finding really old stuff at 3" and modern beer cans at 6" At first I thought it was pretty modern but I'm having second thoughts Thanks..Rich.
