I think it?s just a general service button, a guess.(Found it again in the storage)

It is a Navy button dating prior to 1941 but it looks like there was another backmark on it and "Waterbury Button Co/ Waterbury CT." was stamped over it. Or is it just my old eyes seeing that?

Yep Navy, and Fyrffytr1 it does look like stamped twice i do see waterbury but can make out other. Nice button

Post-Civil War US Navy button. Could be anywhere from 1870s to 1940s.

Here's another picture of the back.ok it sucks also.:laughing7:
Now looking at the picture l think something is going on.

I'll get a better shot later when I go up to the shop.
