I had a chance to poke through an old barn years ago before it was torn down and found this very nice axe head and was looking for help putting a date range to it. There are no makers marks so I’m thinking it is blacksmith made. The barn dated back to the 1880’s and remarkably, the Axe still has a nice edge to it. Thank you for the help!!
