So my other half was metal detecting and I was rock hounding in the creek, I had found this piece of jasper I wanted to rinse off and see the color, I go to rinse it off and staring at me in the water is this beautiful agate spear head in great condition and the coloring is amazing split between white and orange ...she got that and lots of agates,and I found some good rocks and my first silver of the year! A nice moonstone ring.

Like that agate point. The silver is just a bonus. I imagine a lot of knappers would buy that big chunk you found. Good hunt best of both worlds

Thanks everyone...the agates around here are great. I'm thinking of firing up the rock tumbler soon I'll post results when I do. My girlfriend was extremely exited to find the agate point. It's a first for her. Most are obsidian around here. The larger pieces of agate are probably not slabbing quality,nice specimens though!
