Greetings from the Great Black Swamp.
I got out after work to one of my more productive spots. I had heard that the beans had been harvested. When I arrived I knew my chances were pretty slim. About 75% of the field was totally unsearchable ,however as I thought there were plenty of wind swept bare spots that I could certainly search.

It started slowly with a tiny point and plenty of brokes.

Then I found a sweet little Pipe Creek Flint blade.

It was getting late but something kept me walking. I had a feeling there was a big one out there and I was determined to walk till the sun fell. Then as the sun slid behind the trees I spotted it laying 5 rows over. What a beautiful blade. Enjoy, I did.
