We had a major storm system dump a lot of rain in the foothills and snow at higher elevations. I left the house at 10 am to give the road crews time to remove rocks and downed trees road was clear just a few rocks and the remains of trees already cut and cleared. I was surprised when I arrived at my go to site it was clear no snow, but the grass and weeds were beat down and very little clear ground. After about two hours I spotted a basalt Sierra stemmed point my skunk breaker headed back to my truck and decided to try one more area. I found a few more bird points and an Obsidian lanceolate or knife all within ten feet. The points were all in the drip line of a large live oak with a game trail made my day I'm glad I stayed a little longer.
