Went out today and walked a little Feeder Creek that we like to check. Last week we got 17 inches of rain and 12 hours and it pretty well filled all of our spots with mud. Did find this though and a net weight. Got lucky on this one. Actually almost stepped over it and kicked the rock that was covering it as I did. I thought that it had one ear broke at first but it's made that way just the tip missing.

Net weights aren’t much just notches on an ugly rock usually. If they are nice I will keep them but I’ve only found 2 nice ones. The point would have been a good one. That’s a lot of rain. I’ve gotten a couple of inches but no floods

I know it’s not good for most people but a rain like that would be awesome for me. Haven’t had much more than a quick shower in months… ideal for plants/crops but nothing to bring the river up and reset the gravel bars or to really move some dirt in the fields and woods.

Do you have a type on that point? It’s got a bit different type base on it almost like a Hardin or Scotty but not so much with the barbs and blade

I thought Harden when I saw it but wasn’t sure. Apple Creek possibly

A few hours in I started thinking about building an ark.

I'm thinking either a big creek or an edgewood.

Not much today. Found this one tangled up in the roots of an old tree. Not great but better than a stick in the eye.
