Found an odd combination of coins this afternoon. A nice 1883 Indian Head, (unfortunately holed) a beautiful 1910 wheatie, then I found four coins together, Two from French Protectorate Tunisie (Tunisia I believe), another 1926 French Republic and an Empire Cherifien with the Star of David on it. There was a fifth coin, also from Tunisia but it was broken in half. Love to know the story behind that one...Lance

An odd combination is right. The 4 coins might of been on the same necklace i think. There all in good shape though. Nice going!

Dang holes! Someone forgot to fill that one back in by the look of it ;D

Nice finds

Awesome finds!! Just think of the history behind that IH, someone could have worn it or strung it on a piece of jewelry, etc...Any other neat artifacts today?

Comfy, You're on an incredible streak of good luck. Keep it up. I can't wait to see your totals for this year!

Nice finds, does look like it may have been a bracelet or something. HH, Mike

I did some research and the coin on top which says Empire Cherifien is actually from French Morocco. So all of the foreign coins are French or French colonies. I will have to figure how they got there now....Thanks for looking...Lance

Maybe an odd combination, but I would take a find like that any day.

Wow....Lance you are finding an incredible and seriously international bunch of stuff as of late (though I have only been here a couple of months).

Absolutely astonishing!

WTG!
